With over 25 years of leadership experience—including executive roles and senior advisory positions across government, industry, and innovation ecosystems—Caron helps shape the future of business and industry through strategic engagement, public policy, and socio-economic development.

Widely regarded as a cross-sector connector, Caron bridges the worlds of policy, business, and leadership to drive collaboration and unlock innovation at local, national, and international levels.
She previously held management roles with Statoil Canada (now Equinor) and has contributed to major offshore petroleum projects, including Terra Nova, Hebron, Hibernia, and White Rose—providing expertise in government relations, local content, communications, and public affairs. She also consults and partners with leading international contractors, engineering firms, and environmental consultancies.

In the clean energy and innovation sectors, Caron provides strategic counsel on wind-to-hydrogen development, underground energy storage, cleantech commercialization, supply chain readiness, stakeholder engagement, and economic diversification.

Caron has received professional designations as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Accredited Business Communicator (ABC), Certified International Trade Professional (CITP), and Designated Corporate Director (ICD.D). She has served on more than 15 boards and currently sits on the Boards of the Canadian Hydrogen Association, COVE (Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship), and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Women in Natural Resources Committee, reflecting her deep commitment to sustainability, innovation, and economic growth.
